I have a 2004 SeaRay 180 Sport with a 3.0 135mph Mercruiser sterndrive rated for 4400-4800 RPMs at WOT. I have the original aluminum prop that gives me 4600 RPMs at WOT. I'm looking to get a better holeshot with as little a sacrifice in speed that I can get. I've been told the high five would be the way to go, but have also been looking into the VenSura. Are these too much prop for my boat? Should I stick with a 21 pitch, or go down to a 19 pitch? Are there any other props I should look into? Any advice would be greatly apprciated!

Let me know the speed your getting at 4600 rpm. We'll figure out what your slip ratio is.

The High Five can give good holeshot, as will the Vensura. But a lower pitch 3 blade may give good holeshot and end up being the fastest on top end as well.

Are you wanting holeshot for watersports? or just for better acceleration in general?

The High Five, will give good holeshot, and very good throttle control for skiing or wakeboarding. But you give up a little top speed.
A lower pitch 3 blade will accelerate stronger then what you have, and get good top speed, but its not quite as nice when your doing watersports.

In an empty boat at 4600 rpms (just me, gas, and equip.), I'm topping out at 39 mph. You're right, I'm wanting holeshot for watersports, particularly wakeboarding. I use my boat for fishing and wakeboarding about equally, so I'm looking for something that will be fitting for both applications. My main concern is loss in fuel economy, not necessarily top speed. Most of the time I'm cruising at 3000 rpms around 25 mph.

I've been told that every inch will change the rpms by 150-200. Should I go with a 19, or stay with a 21 (since it's within my WOT anyway)?

With this, any suggestions on which prop to consider? Would a High Five or VenSura work better for my needs?

The High Five is very good for wakeboarding. Controling speed is much easier.

If your only at 4600 with a light load I would go with a 19 pitch . Max rpm for that motor is 4400-4800, I would rather be on the high side of that, maybe even a little over if needed.

It will pull a lot easier. Your economy while wakeboarding will be noticeably better. Your cruise economy will probably be a little better with a load as well.
You will have to turn a couple hundred more rpm to get 25 mph, but the engine will not be working as hard.

The High Five cost $469. Quicksilver (same company as merc) just came out with the QST 5. Its the exact same as the high five. It just doesn't have vent holes.
Your not really going to be using vents on a sterndrive anyways.
It cost $369 shipping is free.
You can either use your existing hub kit, or get a new one for $35

Its not on the website yet, so if you want it, just give me a call.
